Well, "they" are wrong! It does not get easier; however, it's my experience that we (mothers and fathers) become better trained by our children and are better able (most of the time) to adapt in ways we never imagined!
In the meanwhile, we continue to nurture our friendships with adults and call upon them in our hour of need or celebration!
