oh yeah... i forgot!

James cut his first tooth on Saturday! It wasn't there in the morning, when we went to farmer's market. But when we got home, I gave him his bottle & tried to put him down for his nap (he had been yawning & rubbing his eyes at church)... he refused to go down. So, after about an hour, we'd moved on to lunch & hanging out. He was still really fussy, so I checked again, and there it was! It's just a little spike in his bottom gum, but it's a tooth! He's figured out that biting his own hands now hurt, so he's even more excited to chew on our fingers. We're very quick to give him a teething ring or other chew toy. Luckily, he's pretty easily pacified with just about anything to chew on.
